Every rap battle game starts the same way: someone has to go first, and nobody wants to. MicDrop solves that with structure. One person creates a battle room, everyone else joins from their own phone, and the game walks each player through the same topic on the same beat. Because the AI judge scores every verse, nobody has to pretend their friend's mumble was fire — the leaderboard settles it. It works as an online rap battle too: drop the room code into a group call and let far-away friends join the same bracket.

Made for Parties, Friends and Hangouts
This is a rap party game, not a battle-rap league. It fits the moments where a console does not: a party that needs a second wind, a dorm hallway, a couples' night that has become competitive, or any casual hangout where someone says “we should do something”. Beginners get on-screen rhymes so nobody freezes, and the judge finds something nice to say about every verse — even the one that was mostly the word “yeah”. The trash talk, however, is entirely player-supplied.
How Battle Scoring Works
Every verse is scored on the same three numbers, so the comparison is fair: Timing — how accurately your syllables land on the beat grid the game is playing; Flow — whether your rhythm holds steady across the thirty seconds or falls apart mid-bar; Delivery — the energy and confidence in your voice. Lyrics are not judged. Highest total wins the leaderboard, and if the AI rap battle referee finds a great line or rhyme along the way, it will quote it back at the group.

Is the rap battle game free?
Yes. Free to play, no credits, no subscriptions — create as many battle rooms as you want.
How many players can join?
Between 2 and 8. Two is a proper head-to-head battle, eight turns your living room into a tournament.
Do my friends need an account?
No. They open the link or scan the QR code, type a nickname, and they are in the room. No accounts exist in MicDrop.
Can friends join with a QR code?
Yes. The room screen shows a QR code that opens the battle room directly on their phone — no typing a long address, no room code entry.
Does everyone rap at the same time?
No. The battle is turn-based: everyone gets the same topic and the same beat, and each player raps for 30 seconds on their own phone while the rest of the crew listens.
Can beginners play?
Yes. Before each turn a player picks their assist level — rhyming words or even short phrase prompts on screen. It is a multiplayer rap game where beginners are protected, not roasted.
Can I play on mobile?
